Liberty Industrial provided the students at the Wirra Club in Wickham with five new computer work stations to assist with their studies and personal development. We were pleased to contribute to this fantastic initiative provided by the David Wirrpanda Foundation.

Liberty Industrial was pleased to sponsor the Olympic Dam Dirt Car Club in 2011 and 2012. As part of the sponsorship we provided support for the much needed burn out pad!
To enhance the clubs facilities we provided sponsorship for the 'Liberty lounge', a well-equipped social area for spectators and club members to congregate during race meets.
WA Variety Club
We are pleased to be a sponsor of the 2012 Variety Golden Outback Bash, a colourful carnival on wheels that raises funds for WA’s kids in need. The eight-day adventure took participants from Albany to Perth between 1-8 September 2012 and included the towns of Hyden, Norseman, Kalgoorlie then returned to Sandstone and Dalwallinu. It brought fun and excitement to regional communities throughout WA.

Follow the Dream Exhibition: Our Vision 40,000 Years On
Liberty Industrial was pleased to support Our Vision 40,000 Years On’, an exhibition of works by students from the ‘Follow the Dream Programme’ that was held at the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery from October to December 2011.
Elke Rhodes, who co-ordinates the ‘Follow the Dream Program’ said, “The Port Hedland Education Partnership ‘Follow the Dream Program’ is a partnership which provides educational support to local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students in years 7-12 from Hedland Senior High School".
“The ‘OUR VISION 40.000 YEARS ON’ project was an educational extension project designed around the concept of Indigenous youth creating visual stories which capture the width and breadth of their Pilbara region through photography and film".

Liberty Industrial was proud to be a part of the 2011 Hedland Art Awards held at the Courthouse Art Gallery.
Our director, Clinton Dick presented the award for the Best Indigenous Artist to Jan Billycan for her work, ‘‘Kirriwirri’’. Jan Billycan is a multi-award winning artist who paints with Yulpirija artists based in Bidyadanga. The Hedland Art Awards is an annual event which celebrates the creative talents of artists based in the Pilbara, Kimberley, Gascoyne and Mid West regions.
