Clinton Dick

Clinton is the founder of Liberty Industrial which has developed into one of the leading industrial divestment, decommissioning and demolition companies within the Southern Hemisphere. He founded the company due to the growing need for a specialist company to service the requirements of major industrial companies here in Australia and abroad.

Clinton leads a senior management team of experienced civil and environmental engineers within the business. He holds an Unrestricted Demolition License Australia wide and has extensive experience working for major blue chip clients on large and technically challenging projects within the mining and industrial demolition sectors throughout Australia.

A qualified Civil Engineer specialising in large project demolition and remediation, Clinton has eighteen years’ experience leading a broad range of projects. He combines solid experience in analysing problems and providing cost-effective and time efficient solution with excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to achieve a clear understanding of any issues, and of the works to be achieved.

Clinton’s focus is to oversee the coordinated and timely delivery of specialist divestment, decommissioning and demolition services of the highest calibre and to the satisfaction of all project stakeholders.

Simon Gill

Simon has worked in all facets of the demolition and deconstruction industry, from Demolition Engineering and site based supervision and project management to high level operations management roles.

Simon possesses strong technical and managerial skills and having held a variety of senior management roles within the industry such as General Manager and National Operations Manager, he is well equipped to deal with technically complex tasks and has the ability to work through the often stressful and unique challenges presented on large, high profile projects.

With strong interpersonal and communication skills, Simon is easily able to manage large project teams, convey a strong safety and sustainability culture, and build and nurture relationships with project stakeholders.

David Wood
General Manager

David is an esteemed and vastly experienced manager of remediation projects. His expertise is in the identification and implementation of innovative and efficient remediation strategies for large scale projects. He is well regarded for his ability to clearly identify client and project needs and assist in the development of cost effective and innovative solutions that add significant value to client’s projects.

David possesses strong technical and managerial skills, and has held a variety of roles from Site Engineer to Managing Director over the years. A highly qualified Civil Engineer, he began his professional career in a Geotechnical Engineering role when an opportunity to manage a large scale remediation project in 2001 ignited his passion for the environment and led him to pursue a career within the field of remediation contracting.

Since then, David has successfully executed hundreds of complex remediation projects, and in his role as Managing Director of a market leading remediation contracting business, he played an integral role in the significant growth of the company from just 4 people to in excess of 150 employees over a 12 year period.

Similarly David and in the business development and successful operations of a market leading remediation contracting business.

John Harris
National HSEQ Manager

As National HSEQ Manager John brings over 15 years of experience in Occupational Health Safety, Environmental and Quality Management to the Liberty Industrial team. He has extensive experience operating in remote regional locations leading diverse teams, developing and managing HSEQ Management Systems, in Demolition, Remediation, Civil Construction, Defence and Telecommunications industries.

John has combined his academic qualifications with practical hands-on experience to develop innovative training packages such as the Liberty Industrial Trainee to Advanced Oxy Cutting training packages, and Advanced Excavator Simulator training. He believes in building relationships with people, training, and mentoring the Liberty Industrial team to develop exceptional outcomes.

John’s key strengths are his leadership, planning, presentation and communication skills which are highly regarded within the organisation. John is adept at leveraging relationships with key stakeholders to ensure common goals are seamlessly delivered with a view to exceeding expectations and to deliver incident free and safe projects.

John is dedicated to improving safety culture throughout the organisation, moving Liberty Industrial beyond compliance and empowering and motivating workers to manage their own safety.

Sean Nestor
Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Liberty Industrial in 2017, Sean held senior finance roles in a number of innovative and prominent international and domestic companies in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Sean previously worked as Senior Finance Manager with international Italian tyre business Pirelli, US conglomerate ITW and French engineering and asset management solutions company Dalkia. Locally he was Chief Financial Officer with Graham Group, now part of the Nepean Group and with James Walker Australia – a designer and manufacturer of bespoke sealant and packing solutions for Oil & Gas, Power and Utility customers.

As Chief Financial Officer, Sean provides strong systems, governance and strategic direction and believes a focus on sustainable growth, strong customer relationships, safety and prudent fiscal management are key for the long term performance of the business.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting from the National University of Ireland and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Martin McLachlan Croker
Sydney Area Manager

Marty is an experienced environmental remediation professional with more than 16 years of environmental consulting and contaminated land management experience.

Having held a variety of roles in environmental consulting, remediation project management and operations management, Marty has played an integral role in the successful delivery of a number of significant remediation projects ranging in value from $100K to $6M.

Over his career he has developed strong, ethical relationships with his clients, project teams, senior management, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring reliable cost effective and timely solutions to his clients requirements.

Marty holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Physical Geography and Biological Sciences. His experience and technical expertise sees him well placed to manage operations and project direction for Liberty Industrial’s remediation business within the broader Sydney area.
