Clinton is a highly regarded industry expert and has been involved with the successful execution of some of the world’s largest and technically complex demolition undertakings. As a Civil Engineer specialising in large project demolition and remediation, Clinton has more than 24 years of demolition project delivery and leadership experience. He has held a variety of consulting, engineering, project management and senior roles in the demolition industry before launching Liberty Industrial in 2008. Clinton’s leadership and expertise have been critical to the growth and direction of Liberty Industrial, a specialist deconstruction and remediation contracting business known for its ability to deliver demolition projects of the largest scale and highest calibre. Clinton has been a regular speaker at the World Demolition Conference presenting project reports covering high-profile and complex demolition projects and is regularly featured in the industry media as a subject matter expert.

    Director

    Simon is a highly regarded industrial demolition and closure expert who has directed the delivery of some of Australia’s largest industrial demolition and closure projects, including several high-profile and World Demolition Award-winning projects. He has earned the respect of his peers in the international demolition community for his leadership of projects such as Munmorah Power Station Removal, Clyde Refinery Removal, Swanbank Power Station Removal, HISmelt Closure Project, Boodarie Hot Briquette Iron and Port Stanvac Refinery Demolition. A qualified Civil and Environmental Engineer specialising in large-scale demolition and remediation projects, Simon has more than 20 years of industrial deconstruction project delivery and leadership experience. With strong interpersonal and communication skills, his ability to foster great working relationships is where Simon excels. He can manage large project teams, convey a strong safety and sustainability culture, and build and nurture relationships with key project stakeholders.

      Barry brings to his role as General Manager over 17 years of experience in the construction industry. Working across a broad range of project management and engineering roles has seen Barry involved in several multi-million dollar projects across three continents including Australia, Ireland and Saudi Arabia. Having the ability to remain adaptable and make informed decisions under pressure has ensured Barry is well equipped to thrive on complex challenges. This experience has seen him build a reputation as a dedicated leader with a unique approach to strategic people and project management. As a skilled communicator, Barry is focused on building and nurturing positive relationships with company personnel and clients alike. Creating a culture that promotes knowledge sharing and transfer has allowed Barry to influence the necessary change required to lead businesses to successful outcomes on a diverse range of projects – safely and efficiently.

        Sean was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Liberty Industrial in July 2017. Before his appointment, Sean held senior finance roles in several innovative and prominent international and domestic companies in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Sean provides strong systems, governance, and strategic direction and believes a focus on sustainable growth, strong customer relationships, safety, and prudent fiscal management are key for the long-term performance of the business. Sean holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Accounting from the National University of Ireland, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Francesca will develop and deliver key strategies that motivate, drive and inspire all employees to contribute to the best outcomes on our projects, to delight our clients and to build on our reputation as the leading award-winning decommissioning company in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Francesca’s qualifications include Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, and is a member of the Australian Human Resource Institute and Change Management Institute. In addition to her certified knowledge, Francesca enjoyed a long and rewarding career from multiple major organisations: BHP, KPMG, Caltex and Komatsu Australia.

            WA Manager

            Brett oversees Liberty Industrial’s Western Australian Operations as the State Manager with more than 20 years of experience in Design & Construct, Demolition, Remediation and Hazmat Industries and a proven track record in intermediate to large-scale project delivery throughout WA and Australia. As part of his role, Brett is the Client’s Representative on both Rio Tinto’s Argyle Diamond Mine Closure Project in the Kimberleys and Chevron’s Thevenard Island Decommissioning Project in the Pilbara, responsible for the relationship between the client, project team and relevant key stakeholders. Within his role on these projects, Brett offers a unique, respectful and collaborative approach with the local Traditional Owner businesses and Indigenous affairs engagement. Brett has a intermit understanding of the logistical challenges that may present operating within remote regional WA communities.

              Timothy brings a wide array of expertise to Liberty Industrial. With over 25 years of international experience in engineering, operations and project management, he is a highly experienced leader with extensive knowledge and skillsets. Timothy’s key career highlights include his experience in delivering sustained improvement to both safety and environmental systems, cultures and performance across complex organisations in compliance with strict government and regulatory frameworks along with his exceptional leadership in managing large integrated teams in multi-billion-dollar mega projects. Timothy is specialised in project and technical leadership gained in the oil and gas, infrastructure and industrial sectors. His strengths include safety leadership, developing innovative solutions in technically challenging projects and creating strong esprit de corps across teams, projects and organisations. Timothy is strongly motivated by aiming to benefit future generations through positive environmental legacy and he continuously strives to enable every client to showcase global best practice in decommissioning, demolition, reinstatement and rehabilitation.

                Antoine is a competent and highly qualified Project Manager with over 10 years of industrial demolition and decommissioning experience within the nuclear power generation sector. Antoine possesses solid experience with all facets of large scale heavy industrial deconstruction projects and brings a level of professionalism and engineering rigour to every project he is involved in. During his time with Liberty Industrial, Antoine has demonstrated comprehensive technical expertise, solid leadership and project management capabilities and has proven his ability to bring innovative solutions, best practice and continuous improvement to head office and site based management operations. Liberty Industrial has proudly promoted Antoine to National Operations Manager from the start of 2023, where Antoine is highly regarded as a valuable addition to the senior management team overseeing the operational responsibility of Liberty Industrial’s Australasian projects as well as being an actor of Liberty’s solid business growth in Australia and the UK.

                  Jed is an experienced Senior Project Manager with over 20 years of experience working on Greenfield and Brownfield projects in the onshore and offshore oil and gas sector across Australia, Brazil, China, Russia, Norway, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Driving a ‘safety first’ culture, Jed is accustomed to leading project teams on complex construction, salvage, inspection, maintenance, upgrade, and decommissioning projects for offshore FPSO’s, platforms and mooring systems (including jackets, topsides, buoys and subsea umbilical’s, risers, flowlines, rigid pipelines and riserless light well interventions), as well as onshore LNG and liquid oxygen plants. Jed is highly motivated to deliver commercial outcomes for all stakeholders through the development of creative solutions, transparent communication, and collaborative team culture.

                    John brings over 14 years of project experience alongside a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, complete with first-class honours, and a Master of Environmental Engineering Management, both from the University of Technology Sydney. John has designed and optimised soil and water treatment systems for municipal and industrial wastewater and soil treatment technologies of soil vapour extraction and bioremediation. He also has significant experience in municipal wastewater process design, the design of sediment and erosion control mitigation measures, and project environmental management. John possesses significant onsite experience in the areas of construction, civil and demolition.

                      Scott is a highly visible industry professional with over 18 years of global experience in commercial operations and business development, working with clients across key sectors such as defence, state and federal government, oil and gas, hazardous waste and landfill, heavy industry, manufacturing, mining, utilities and infrastructure. Over the years, Scott has designed project-specific environmental programs that address data gaps and provide a crucial understanding of contaminated sites before any invasive activities. He aims to achieve the best environmental outcomes for all projects. Scott is skilled at developing new pathways for partnering with stakeholders, streamlining site/project operations to maximise efficiency, negotiating terms and SLAs for joint ventures and being involved with securing finance and funding for new ventures and acquisitions. With a keen eye for detail, he seeks to engage with stakeholders to understand their specific needs and determine real-time solutions from the start to finish of complex projects. Scott holds the role of President and is a director on the board of a not-for-profit, industry peak body - ALGA. This is an industry peer-elected position, with oversight of association activities and direction, budget formation and governance.

                        John oversees company health and safety, environment, quality, and training. John has developed several award-winning safety and training programs for Liberty Industrial. He was the winner of the Australian NSW Safework Awards for Category 3 – Safety Champion – Best Individual contribution to Work, Health & Safety. This award was given for his participation in the Demolition Certificate 3 & 4 industry reviews and developed training programs for the safe introduction of Liberty Industrial’s fleet of high-reach demolition excavators. John’s oxy cutting program was Highly Commended at the 2019 National Safety Awards of Excellence for the Best WHS Training Program Award in Australia. He was also a finalist at the 2022 and 2019 World Demolition Awards in the Safety & Training Award category.

                          Kurt is a professional and experienced Fleet Manager and Workshop Supervisor with more than 18 years of experience specialising in the management and maintenance of fleets of large civil and demolition plant and equipment. A mechanic by trade, Kurt started his career in plant mechanics in 2002. Since then, he has held a variety of roles from Plant Mechanic to Workshop Supervisor and National Fleet Manager. Kurt’s extensive supervisory and management experience sees him well placed to manage and maintain Liberty Industrial’s extensive fleet of state-of-the-art plant and equipment.

                            David is an experienced CEO/Managing Director, Project Manager and Engineer involved in the oversight and execution of large and complex contaminated land remediation and demolition projects with more than 20 years of industry experience. David is a qualified Civil Engineer who holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours. His passion for innovation in contracting has led him to pursue a career in the field of complex contaminated land rehabilitation and has grown to include strategic involvement in securing some of Australia’s largest-ever executed demolition and remediation projects. David has been instrumental in building Liberty Industrial’s position as one of Australia’s leading demolition and remediation contractors, helping to guide the company’s transition from a predominately industrial demolition contractor to a fully integrated demolition, remediation and civil contracting business. His involvement in this growth has led to Liberty being considered Australia’s best early works contracting company. His passion for developing and mentoring junior personnel is a large factor in the growth of the business over the last 8 years.

                              Martin has over fifteen years of experience in the demolition world. He has successfully delivered commercial projects ranging from £2 to £100 million. Along with this, Martin brings a vast amount of expertise in delivering business critical, high-profile projects in a timely and on budget manner. Martin is proficient in establishing and monitoring time critical programmes and has a strong knowledge in health and safety legislations along with in depth knowledge of financial monitoring and reporting. With exceptional leadership skills, vast technical experience and recently completed a MSc in Demolition Management at the University of Wolverhampton, Martin will be leading Liberty Industrial’s UK team towards greater heights.
